Tiny Calculator Engine Self-Review

Repair routes for each of the eight advisory capstone evidence checks.

Updated 2026-07-28

The self-review is advisory. Leave uncertain items unchecked; the final screen will preserve that honest state and show what still needs attention.

Use these repair routes:

  • Required modules and operations: rerun Lesson 7.5 and confirm alu_4bit, reg_file_4x4, control_fsm, and tiny_calc_top are present; ADD, SUB, AND, and OR must be computed and stored.
  • Waveform and bug/fix note: revisit Lesson 7.6. Keep the earliest failing observation, the one connection changed, the passing rerun, and a labelled waveform.
  • Warnings and verification explanation: revisit Lesson 7.7. Use four concrete paragraphs and name an honest untested boundary.
  • Design explanation: cover module responsibilities, datapath/control separation, write-back timing, and one tradeoff in 200–400 words.
  • Earlier project slices: review the accepted Module 4 FSM, Module 5 datapath/control, and Module 6 debug evidence. These show the skills that the integrated capstone combines.

An unchecked item is not a grade. It is a precise next action.
