Earning your SkillLift Labs certificate

Learn how the three certification tiers work, what requirements you need to meet, and how to claim your certificate.

Quick answer

SkillLift Labs certificates are claimed in three tiers: Skills, Applied, and Capstone.
You unlock them in order and claim each one from your course's Certification tab.

Certification tiers

Tier What it represents Key requirement
Skills You know the concepts Pass all course quizzes
Applied You can apply them Complete all module projects + provide peer feedback
Capstone You can build independently Submit and pass the capstone showcase

Tiers unlock in sequence: Skills -> Applied -> Capstone.

Track your progress

Go to your course -> Certification tab.
You will see a checklist and status per tier:

  • 🟡 Eligible: requirements met, ready to claim
  • 🔵 In Progress: requirements not fully complete yet
  • Issued: already claimed

Claim your certificate (step-by-step)

When a tier shows Ready to Claim:

  1. Click Claim Certificate.
  2. SkillLift issues a credential immediately (example ID: SL-XXXXXXXX-XXXX).
  3. A confirmation email is sent to your registered address.
  4. Your public verification page becomes available at skillift.com/verify/[credentialId].

Share your certificate

After issue, you can:

  • Copy the public verification link into CV/LinkedIn.
  • Share from certificate page social actions.
  • Download a PDF copy for offline use.

Evidence page

Each certificate links to an evidence page showing quizzes, projects, and review evidence used for issuance.
This gives employers an auditable proof trail, not just a badge.
