Quick answer
Your course's Certification page shows three tiers: Skills Certificate, Applied Certificate, and Capstone Certificate. Each tier has its own requirements and claim status. Read the checklist for your course; requirements can differ between courses.
Course 1 requirements
For Verilog RTL Foundations, the achievements are cumulative:

| Capstone Certificate | Meet the foundational and practical requirements, submit the integrated RTL system, and pass expert review. Automated checks alone do not replace expert approval. |
These are end-of-course achievements, rather than certificates awarded partway through the course. You do not need to claim a lower certificate before claiming a higher one, but its educational requirements still apply. Paid course access is required for issuance.
Completion must be supported by the task's own evidence. An older completion without verified evidence may require you to pass the task again. The progress record is retained. An approved capstone waits for outstanding verified work; approval is not lost while you finish it.
The foundational and practical credentials say Requirements met, rather than converting completion into a percentage. The final credential records the expert-review outcome. See release status for current availability of capstone review and RTL Proof publication.
Track and claim a credential
Open your course's Certification page while signed in. Each tier shows Not Started, In Progress, Ready to Claim, Issued, or Revoked.
When a tier shows Ready to Claim, use Claim Certificate if that action is available for your access. The server checks the requirements again before issuing the credential. An issued credential has an ID such as SL-XXXXXXXX-XXXX and a verification address on www.skilllift.io, with the path /verify/[credentialId]. Your Certification page retains the issued credential even if its email notification does not arrive.
Choose when to publish your RTL Proof
Course 1's reviewed RTL Proof starts private. Issuance does not automatically publish it. On your Certification page, use Publish RTL Proof when you want others to view it, or Keep private to withdraw public access. LinkedIn sharing is available there only while the proof is public.
Once published, share the credential link from the page. A private RTL Proof and its evidence page are unavailable to other visitors. Certificate downloads and verification also depend on your course access and the credential's current status.
